Like always, quite a lot has happened in my life since my last blog entry.
Let’s start with the hottest topics and then go back in time.
6502
I entered yet another rabbit hole, one in which there is no light of hope.
It started with Ben Eater’s 8-bit computer series,
which fascinated me so much that I planned to buy all the necessary parts.
The only thing that stopped me was the total cost of the project.
But don’t worry—another of his sneaky traps caught my attention.
It was a tentacle that dragged me into the abyss I am now occupying.
His series about the 6502 CPU-based simple “computer” / terminal
became my Pandora’s box to a new world of endless documentation. 😄
Another great source of information about basic electronic circuits
has been the videos by Great Scott.
Because of all the above, I ordered a bunch of stuff to create my own twist
on this basic “architecture.”
Even worse, I started looking at cheap RISC-V MCUs like the CH32V003…
Studies
I started my first semester as a student, and (for now) I’m quite happy with it.
Maybe some subjects could be described as pathologically easy,
but others are nicely balanced.
What’s quite funny is that I now have much more time for myself
than I did before in middle school.
Professional Life
In the last few months, I’ve created a few sites,
some of which I’m still administrating.
Because of this, I’m thinking about making my skills more attractive to buyers.
So, I recreated this site in Astro and Tailwind,
giving it a more professional, business card-like appearance.
Don’t worry—I will still treat it as my hobby blog.
However, there will be sub-pages about my skills, professional experience, and salary.
Rest
There is much more to describe,
but I will do it in future posts about my projects or in other blog entries.
